The Illinois Department of Innovation and Technology is giving notice of its intent to enter into a change order with Frontier North, Inc. Increase contracted bandwidth (BW) from 20Mb to 50Mb on existing Frontier Communications Metro-Ethernet service at the Department of Corrections (DOC), Logan Correctional Center, 1096 1350th St., Lincoln, IL 62656. This will result in an increase of $7825 to the overall contract.

This requisition is to increase the cost of the previously approved requisition R-14356. Per Frontier North, the previous quote of $475 per month for 50MB was based on a NEW 5 year contract. DoIT is only requesting the remaining months of the current contract, not a 5 year contract. Based on that, Frontier has provided a new quote of $673 per month for the remaining months of the current contract (the difference is $313 per month and will be added to the remaining months of the contract which expires on 12/27/2020.
