Repairs to the roofing system at both Northbound and Southbound Mainline Rest Areas, located on I-57 south of Buckley, Illinois. The work will consist of removing all loose seams and cap, corners, laps, parapets and penetration that need repair, secure all loose rubber roofing, flash as necessary, re-glue and caulk as needed to restore the roofing to a functional and watertight surface. Prevailing Wage will apply to this contract: As a condition of receiving payment Vendor must (i) be in compliance with the contract, (ii) pay its employees prevailing wages when required by law, (iii) pay its suppliers and subcontractors according to the terms of their respective contracts, and (iv) provide lien waivers to the State upon request. Examples of prevailing wage categories include public works, printing, janitorial, window washing, building and grounds services, site technician services, natural resource services, security guard and food services. The prevailing wages are revised by the Illinois Department of Labor (DOL) and are available on DOL's official website, which shall be deemed proper notification of any rate changes under this subsection. Vendor is responsible for contacting DOL at 217-782-6206 or (http://www.state.il.us/agency/idol/index.htm) to ensure understanding of prevailing wage requirements.
