The Illinois Secretary of State has been working to modernize its antiquated systems and processes since January of 2023. While significant progress has been made, there are still outstanding initiatives to be sourced and implemented. To date, at least six states have implemented electronic titles (e-title) for vehicle services operations. In order to better understand how and when Illinois can issue e-titles, ILSOS is requesting responses to the attached RFI.
