FY26 -Alton MHC is seeking a Full Time Medical Director to source both Administrative and Clinical medical services. This position is administratively responsible for overseeing all medical and psychiatric and nursing care treatment. Must monitor emerging evidence-based standards of practice for inpatient psychiatric care and supervises, trains and credentials medical staff. Reviews all restraint authorizations and critical incidents and directs, designs and implements policies and trainings as needed. Serves as Chair on various committees and provides consultation to other hospital administrative personnel on clinical, medical, and nursing issues.
